Kirsten tends to have a clear vision of how things should be accomplished and is willing to step into the leadership position to achieve that vision. She is good at creating systems and plans for action ad knowing what steps are needed to complete a task. Most of the time Kirsten is straight forward and honest; although at times she can be too blunt when dealing with people.
Kirsten is constantly taking in information about people and situations that she finds important. She values practical applications and can be hesitant to attempt a new method without first studying it.
Kirsten was born and raised in the Hemera sector. Her parents were both heavily involved in local politics and instilled on Kirsten and her brother the importance of public service. When in 8th grade, Kirsten participated in a shortened triathlon which started her interest in track and field. Upon entry into high school she joined the track and field team and in her junior year, helped lead her school to their best year on record. While her brother enrolled in college with the hope of one day serving on the Earth Council, Kirsten took a different route for public service. After graduation she enlisted in the MACO. Due to her knowledge of the area, Kirsten was assigned to the Ares Platoon which operated in and around the Hemera sector.
In 2156, with the outbreak of war between the Romulan Star Empire and the Coalition of Planets, mainly Earth and her colonies, the Ares Platoon was pulled from the Hemera sector and folded into the newly formed 129th Infantry. The 129th saw action in the early battles for control of Gatrai V and Vorle Prime as well as several other planets.
In 2158, while onboard the UES Neptune for her 3 month shipboard rotation, she along with the rest of the crew disappeared during the Battle of Zoryana. The crew was declared MIA and presumed dead. In 2385 the Neptune suddenly appeared in almost the same spot from which she disappeared. An official inquiry into the matter determined the vessel travelled through a temporal anomaly. The decision was made not to send the Neptune's crew back to their original timeline, but to allow them to remain in the present. Severely damaged, the Neptune was towed back to the Sol System by the USS Thunderbolt. Thanks to the efforts of both ship's engineering teams, the Neptune was able to make the entry into the Sol System under her own power.
With Starfleet & The Federation in a period of relative peace, Kirsten was unsure if she wanted to remain attached with a combat unit. After some soul searching, Kirsten decided to retrain in order to join Starfleet Security and soon found herself assigned to bolster the depleted ranks of Kepler station.
