Rare Diseases in Federation Space, in Alphabetical Order

• Sakuro's disease - causing intense fever, weakness and death if not treated
  
• Transporter shock - patient experiences dizziness, headaches, and disorientation after being transported
  
• Vegan Choriomeningitis - deadly disease; symptoms: high fever, pain in the extremities, delirium, followed by death if not treated within 24 hours
  

• Vangarian syndrome - attacks the synapses in the brain causing blurred vision, involuntary muscle twitches - especially in the extremities - occasional weakness, and shortness of breath. No reported cases have been fatal yet. Some cancer-like symptoms, and can go into remission. No known cause, no known cure.
