Denotes how long a player has been with Kepler
Eligibility: Anyone who has been with Kepler for the allotted period of time.
Merit Awards
This is probably the most coveted awards that we have. It is decided by votes made by every player. I don't care how you make your decision only that you make one and it's based on what you've seen, read, enjoyed, admired or whatever'd in the mission just been.
Eligibility: Anyone who has participated in the relevant mission and did not receive this award for the previous mission.
Voting: Voting is conducted in the forums and generally lasts for seven days. Even though the votes are anonymous, please vote for others and not yourself.
Awarded to the player whom the Captain deems the most worthy. Can be awarded for writing or for OOC reasons.
Eligibility: Anyone who participated during the relevant mission and did not receive this award for the previous mission.

Awarded to the player(s) who joined during the relevant mission, who has written exceptionally well.

Awarded to the player(s) who creates (P)NPCs that interacts with others and are continually used in meaningful ways.
Eligibility: Anyone who created and/or writes their own (P)NPC during the relevant mission.

Awarded to the player(s) who contribute their time and energy to the expansion and/or upkeep of the forum or wiki.
Eligibility: Anyone meeting the above criteria who hasn't received this award for the same reason.

Writing Awards
Awarded to the player(s) who realistically develops their character and / or contributes to the advancement of the plot.
Eligibility: Anyone who has participated in the relevant mission and did not receive this award (for the same reason) for the previous mission.

Awarded to the player(s) who forges meaningful or interesting friendships with others.
Eligibility: Anyone who has participated in the relevant mission and did not receive this award (for the same reason) for the previous mission.

Awarded to the player(s) who entertain us with interesting relationships and romances.

Awarded to the player(s) who realistically applies treknology / treknobabble in posts.

Awarded to the player(s) who entertains us with the best facepalm moment during the mission.

Awarded to the player(s) who writes a realistic and quality combat scene or scenario. Can be ship to ship, hand to hand, phaser fight, etc.

Awarded to the player(s) who forges meaningful or interesting hateships, rivalries or someone we love to dislike.

Awarded to the player(s) who go above and beyond in creating and carrying out interesting subplots that add to the mission.

Awarded to the player(s) who has created and written an undeniably good and three dimensional antagonist.

Awarded to the player(s) who somehow manage to spend most, if not all, of the mission unconscious.
Eligibility: Anyone who has participated in the relevant mission and did not receive this award for the previous mission.

Awarded to the player(s) who jerry-rig a jumble of jovial jokes. Or more specifically those who are able to craft a witty retort, a humourous one liner, or just a genuinely funny moment.

The player(s) who realistically sentences their character (PC, PNPC or NPC) to death will be awarded the coveted Red Shirt.
Eligibility: The death in question must be suitable for the current mission and involve a character who has been previously established. PC deaths resulting from a player leaving the sim are also disqualified from receiving this award.

Awarded to the player(s) who create a heartfelt piece of writing that allows the reader to see the real emotions behind the character's actions, whether it be a joyous occasion or tempestuous.

Awarded to the player(s) who set the scene in a post like a master Holodeck Programmer.

Awarded to the player(s) who go out of their way to be the teacher's pet.

Awarded to the player(s) who performs a heroic act, either on their own or as part of a team. Whether it be deifying the odds and saving themselves or swooping in to save the day.

Awarded to the player(s) whose character is on the receiving end of torture for the purposes of the main plot.

Awarded to the players who exceed the posting output of their fellow players during the two week period surrounding Kepler Station's birthday.

To commemorate the 45th Anniversary of the creation of Star Trek by Gene Roddenberry back in 1966, Kepler Station held a month long Joint Post Festival. During that time points were awarded for various, and constantly changing, reasons to encourage a more creative environment in honour of Gene and the numerous people involved in the shows over the years.
Eligibility: Anyone who participated during the festival.

The Tournament of Simulations is a competition run by the Simming League that is open to all sims and online role-playing games of various types and genres.
Eligibility: Anyone selected to participate by the Simming League.
Voting: Judges observe the sims as they normally occur during the period of time the Tournament is being held.
