Sickbay

Sickbay on Kepler is in Module A, Deck 25. Medical offices are also located there. Morgue and autopsy facilities are located on Deck 26, Module A, along with intensive care and isolation chambers.

A bio-bed is an orthopedically-designed hospital bed with an array of bio-function sensors to monitor all bodily systems. The bed is raised to allow the doctor to comfortably examine the patient. The graphic display at the head gives the patient's current status. Restraining fields are available on two models in Kepler's Sickbay.

Two other bio-beds have a button to detach the bed platform and initiate hovering, which allows them to be used as stretchers for transporting patients.

The Sickbay has six biobeds for normal medical routine. In addition, there are two surgical stations.

Morgue and autopsy facilities are located on Deck 26, Module A, along with intensive care. Isolation chambers are located on Deck 28 of the Medical Pod.
