Sometimes a change of scenery is needed to break up the monotony of staring at life through a microscope. Two (see also USS Discovery) small permanent vessels have been assigned to protection Kepler Station. Small enough to keep the close-knit feeling between characters while still fulfilling a patrol function to ensure the station’s safety due to it’s unexplored and sometimes dangerous location.
The USS Tribulation is a Sabre Class vessel permanently assigned to Kepler Station for support and escorting duties. It is only manned while in use.
